www.youtube.com Stranded is a fan film made by the Gears community, for the Gears community. Taking place after the events of Gears of War 2, the film follows Sigma Squad of the COG as they retreat to shelter within a stranded camp. This project would never have happened without the help and contributions from those who participated on our Kickstarter, as well as the rest of the fans within the Gears of War community and Epic Games themselves. We had the best times of our lives making it, we just hope you enjoy it. We shot the project in three days within a warehouse known as The Dude Locker in Columbus, OH. Organizations within the Gears community involved within the making include Undefined Shorts, Dotswoof Productions, with help from GEARSCON. Shot on both a Canon 5D and Canon 550D, edited in Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 and Adobe After Effects CS5 with color manipulation done in AE.
